The Desky Single Gaming monitor stand will fit any monitor that is compatible with 75mm or 100mm VESA mounts. The VESA mount supplied simply screws onto the back of compatible monitors and slides onto the monitor stand where it is secured by a single screw.
The Desky Single Gaming monitor stand will support monitors that weigh up to 8kg.
There is no size or width restriction with monitors you can use, as long as the weight is under 8kg. Monitors with larger vertical heights may restrict the range of vertical height adjustment on the stand.
If your monitor weighs more than 8kg, the vertical height adjustment mechanism will not be able to support it. A monitor that is heavier than 8kg will cause the mechanism to fall to its lowest position.
The Desky Single Gaming monitor stand is a free-standing unit that sits on top of your desktop and does not require any holes or drilling.
Yes! This monitor stand can be used with any desktop.
You can read our full article on how to setup and position your monitor stand in the most ergonomic position here. In short:
Height - the ideal height for your monitor is when your eye level is just below the top of the screen. Tilting your head backward or forward can cause neck strain.
Distance - as a general rule, the length of your arm is roughly the distance you want between your eyes and the monitor. This will mean you do not have to crane your neck forward and will help to avoid neck and eye strain.
